Natsuki was naturally angry and overconfident like this, while Yuri had been pushed far enough to drop her timid nature, like how she tends to act when sucked into her books. Now, it was just the two quite angry girls, and it seemed like they weren't going to simply make up at this point. MC-Kun was then turned to for help settling who was right in their argument, but Monika quickly pulled him out, not thinking he should get pulled into their argument. So, the fight began to escalate, with Yuri insulting Natsuki and essentially calling her stupid, as well as making fun of her for having what she called a toxic personality, while Natsuki insulted Yuri by accusing her of cutting herself and calling her an "edgy b-ch." It started when they both read each other's poems, and Natsuki got offended when Yuri said it was simply 'cute.' Ordinarily, the fight wouldn't go too far past Natsuki insulting Yuri by accusing her of stuffing her bra, but in this alternate reality, the one person who would be able to effectively break up their fight is no longer there. Yuri and Natsuki were beginning to have a pretty heated argument, and MC-Kun had no idea what to do.
